The night after African Express at Koko in London, the African stars gathered at the Barbican for another night of high-energy music. I sampled the atmosphere backstage and photographed Oumou Sangare minutes before she went on stage. Thanks to Amadou & Mariam, Bassekou Kouyate, Oumou Sangare, Baaba Maal and Toumani Diabate, another night to remember.
